A&M-Corpus Christi started the camp early in the morning with a conditioning test, before competing in an inter-squad scrimmage that featured goals from Katie Seabolt and Yvette Franco.

Over the next two weeks, eight freshmen and three transfers will vie for spots in the starting XI with the seven returning seniors, the largest graduating class in program history.

The senior class will use the experience of reaching the Southland Conference Tournament for the first time in program history in 2015. The Islanders won five out of their final seven games, including three straight victories over Central Arkansas, Lamar and McNeese to tally the program record for wins in a year.
